| Angina Angina is temporary pain or feeling of pressure in the chest due to lack of adequate oxygen to the heart muscle. The most common cause of angina is coronary artery disease, a condition in which blood flow in the coronary artery is obstructed by fatty deposits. Typically, the pain starts from the breast bone in the center of the chest, goes to the left shoulder, and passes along the inner side of the upper arm to the tip of the little finger. The pain or discomfort usually lasts for only a few minutes and is often triggered by physical activity. Natural remedies, such as nutritional supplementation and certain lifestyle changes, can be helpful.
