This symptom has persisted for about 5 months and also includes constipation. For some strange reason the nausea increases when I go to bed and I have woken up many times in the middle of the night with really bad nausea. I have had no stomach pain though. My doctor put me on Prilosec which helps a little but not much. Also I have taken a gastric emptying scan which came back completely normal. If it helps I am a vegetarian. If you need any more details I would be happy to answer questions. Any insight on the problem would be great as I continue to lose much sleep over this. Thank you

First treat constipation.

Then, try fasting for a day; do not take any solid food. Fasting gives a healing rest to digestive system.
