More than likely she is dehydrated.  Is she drinking enough water throughout the day? Whatever she weighs she should be drinking half of that number in ounces of water. Also caffeine before bed is a major contributing factor to aching bones after awaking the following morning. Let me know if either of those are things are in fact occurring in your wife's daily routine. I will be able to give you other possibilities to her pain if you rule those two out first.  But generally either or both of those common mistakes are the cause of that type of pain.
