This started after having a high blood pressure issue two months ago. The pressure is back to normal but the soles of my feet gets hot at different times of the day.

Rule out the cause for burning feet. Chronic alcohol use, chronic kidney disease, diabetic neuropathy vitamin deficiency anemia & hypothyroidism are some of the common cause of burning feet. Sometime the combination of high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol levels, obesity, and prediabetes is also the common cause with unexplained nerve pain.

Here are few tips to deal with it:

- Do regular exercise that may expand blood vessels in the feet over time, nourishing damaged nerves back to health. Start with a daily walk and gradually build up pace and distance.

- Wear comfortable shoes.

- Get good night sleep.

- Avoid caffeine.

- Do meditation.
